At Family Tree, we want you to love every purchase you make. If your item isn’t the right fit, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of the order date. To qualify, items must be clean, unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Certain items may not be eligible for returns or exchanges, including promotional items or items marked as Final Sale. If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact our Customer Experience team.
Holiday & Special Occasion Returns
For purchases made between November 1, 2025, and November 30, 2025, we offer an extended return and exchange window through January 9, 2026. Orders outside this period follow our standard 30-day return policy.
Online Orders
Returning or exchanging online is simple and free. Locate your order number from your confirmation email, then start your return or exchange through our online portal. Once your package is dropped off at the carrier, your return will be processed. If you’re exchanging an item, your new item will ship when we receive your original item.
Important: Each order must be returned separately. Combining multiple orders in one return can delay your refund.
All Second-Turn® items are final sale and cannot be returned.
In-Store Purchases
Items purchased at a Family Tree Studio™ can be returned or exchanged in-store. In-store purchases cannot currently be processed through the online portal. If you are unable to visit a store, contact us to request a pre-paid return shipping label.
International Orders
Canada: Most Canadian orders can be returned through our online portal. Some items may require direct assistance—please contact us for help.
Other countries: For all other international returns or exchanges, contact our Customer Experience team to receive a return label. Exchanges are processed as a refund and repurchase: you’ll return the original item and place a new order for the replacement.
Return Processing Timeline
After you drop off your return package:
5–10 business days for the package to reach our warehouse
Once received, processing may take up to 10 additional business days
Refunds may take up to 10 business days after processing to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
